Everyday is worth our care and attention

We envision a world in which well-being is understood, cultivated, and celebrated as an integral part of everyday life. Our mission drives us to build a community in which balance and well-being thrives.

A message from our founders

founders-1

Phivo

“Everyday is worth our care and attention. Creating space to focus on progress, practicing gratitude and connecting with the environment - and ourselves - are key aspects of self-love. These foundational pillars of growth help develop our version of well-being.”

founders-2

Jason

“I now realise that my well-being extends beyond the physical dimension alone. Understanding holistic well-being helps me create a framework for actionable, marginal changes every day that contribute to a better life experience.”

founders-3

Christo

“I believe that we can all benefit greatly from having accountability and inspiration. Embracing a life centred around well-being makes our goals so much more achievable, especially when we have an additional layer of support.”

Scend is a movement
- a way of life

Scend was founded by a group of friends who all share the common goal of finding healthy, natural alternatives to help cope with our personal challenges. Having struggled with ADHD, stress, poor sleep, anxiety and depression, we all set out to build something more important than us.

Scend is our contribution to the world of well-being. It’s our way of saying we are better together. It’s not about being perfect, but about feeling a little better each and every day. Take our hand, we are ready to walk this journey with you.

Our well-being approach - the science of change

The Science of Change and Habit Formation

“Habits are the compound interest of self-improvement – it’s the good and bad things that we do each and every day that compound over time to create real change.”

– Atomic Habits by James Clear

Forming Healthy Habits

Often, many people struggle with creating and maintaining healthy habits because their eyes are set on the end-goal only. It is important to focus on the journey just as much as the destination.

The 8 dimensions of well-being

Just like everything in an ecosystem is connected, the 8 dimensions in the well-being ‘ecosystem’ are connected too. A holistic life experience depends on our ability to find a balance between these dimensions.

A feeling of satisfaction about our financial situation - comfort about our financial outlook.

Intellectual

Mental

An internal way of thinking, feeling, and connecting, which helps us become accepting of who we are right now.

Occupational

A feeling that career, role and work-position is guided by meaning and purpose.

Physical

Affected by physical activity, healthy nutrition, and adequate sleep. It is the ability to have a strong and healthy body.

Social

A sense of connectedness, expressed in feelings of being appreciated, respected, and loved.

Spiritual

Our values and beliefs which are used to help us find meaning and purpose in our lives.
